Laudinboro
Laudinboro is a small town on the East Coast of the United States, that has been inhabited by humans since it was founded by English settlers in the late 1600s.
Until modern times, Laudinboro was nearly uninhabited by vampires, with the exception of a few drifters. It is unclear why, in recent years, many vampires have chosen to make Laudinboro their permanent home. The mass of these secretive nightwalkers has not yet seemed to make an effect on the overall number of human residents, though if the number continues to grow, it is possible that their existance could become known.
The Laudinboro vampires are classified into four groups, usually referred to as covens. The peaceful Lafayette coven prohibits its members from feeding off human blood, instead getting their nourishment from animals. The Ashen coven allows its members the taste of human blood, but taking an innocent human life is against their laws. The Delmos coven lets its members decide their own lifestyle; they firmly believe that no laws should restrict any vampire's free choice. The Kramos coven is composed mostly of unusually bloodthirsty vampires, for feeding off of anything except fresh human blood is prohibited by their laws.
