She sat alone playing with the hem of her green dress. Her bright blue eyes and blond curly hair made her look doll like. Pale skin and a Victorian styled dress made it obvious what she was. Despite her innocent looks she was a hunter, a killer, a vampire. A child eternal in her young age, never to change, never to age, never to grow up.
The old teddy bear laid on the table as she looked down at the cup of coffee she had ordered, straight coffee. She hated the stuff after one sip, never before had she tried it, and she didn't want blood in it simply because she wished she could be like the humans. She just wanted once to eat something or drink something and have it taste like she remembered.
Her old age reflected under those doll like curls, that old tired wisdom. She was much older then most vampires here, and sometimes it made her sad. No one else was really around that she could talk to about the way the world was once, before cars, and light bulbs.

Horus pushed the doors open to the cafe. His machine gun rested inside his backpack. Looking around, it seemed pretty standard for a place except for a young girl sitting by herself. Horus didn't give it much thought. Walking to the counter, he ordered himself a flat white coffee and a sandwich, paying the man, he picked a table in the opposite side of the room, still in view of the child. His large combat knife sat silently in its sheath, ready and waiting to cut the throat of his next target. The waiter brought Horus his order. Sitting in complete silence, he watched the other patrons of the coffee shop stare at him, his armored suit clearly showed the signs of battle. He didn't care, for him, it was something more than just a tool, it was a part of him in a sense. He silently unbuckled the clip on his knife, just in case something happened. It always happened at the least expectant moment for Horus.

She raised an eyebrow to the freak walking into the shop. In all her life she had never seen something so ugly as this mindless beast. Pulling her teddy bear closer she said, "It's okay Toby, he can't hurt you...and he certainly can't hurt me."
She looked over at him, bright blue eyes gazing over his face. What an odd man, who walked around in armor, people hadn't done that since the medieval days. That was like her running around with her fangs, hissing and screaming, 'hey look at me, I am a vampire.'
She was pale and pretty, defiantly not like the warm looking colorful skins of the humans. No the only color on her was her eyes, her golden curls, and the blush she put on so that she looked more innocent. Looking back at her coffee she sighed, the thing she had really come to the shop for was to find a mommy. She really wanted one, and not just one that would die on her like the others. If she found a mommy that was not a vampire she would have one of the elders turn her.
It seemed wrong, but she came from a dark era for the vampires, for humans as well.

Horus had a feeling in his gut that something was amiss.
Why does that girl keep staring at me? He couldn't put his finger on the odd feeling he had. Horus silently wished that he had his machine gun ready for use, but that would only bring unwanted attention to him. His armor was already drawing enough attention from everyone in the coffee shop. His hand silently slid down to his side. In his hands, he could feel the handle of his knife. A reassuring thought for him. It wouldn't matter who attacked him first, he would be protected by his armored suit. Its solid titanium plate had spared him from death and he was confident that it would not fail him this day.
Stop looking at me. Horus was getting uneasy about the little girl. Her skin wasn't normal, a pale white. It was like she had no..........
Don't think like that. She couldn't be dead..... Could she? Horus didn't like the feeling at all. Silently drawing his knife from its sheath, he made double sure that no one could see the lethal 30 centimeter blade that made up his combat knife. If she left, he would follow and get the answers he needed. Horus waited. In his mind, he planned on how to best go about the situation.

Kragashi sat quietly, swirling the red liquid in the glass around in a refined manner, watching the scenes unfold before his eyes. Amuse struck him, the interaction of mortals and young fledgling vampires alike caught his interest. Oh, the irony of a aged vampire such as himself, reduced to watching the social interaction of the lesser group. His eyes closed for a moment before sipping the rich red liquid that warmed his stomach to some extent.
Ah, a good age. Fresh, still warm, uncongelled. A perfect palette was required to understand the delicate tastes. Female by taste and its delicate fragance, young about mid twenties, untainted guiding by the purity of its taste. The slink of metal pinged teasingly at his ear, his eyes opened in distaste was impossible for him to enjoy a good drink before some idiotic hunter tried their luck? Apparently not.
Much to his own surprise, he thought he had been thrown back in time to his own era, a knight in this pub? Upon closer insection, he was deemed as incorrect. a bionical man in a sense, although how this was possible was beyond his scope of modern science, but not the scope of his knowledge. Afterall being dead was considered impossible so he had learnt never to take things at face value.
"Now now good sir. Surely there is no need to bring out such a weapon upon a mere child. It is hardly becoming a man who is oath sworn to honour and porection of the weak." Kragashi spoke smoothly but loud enough so the the bionical man would caught his words clearly.
He remained seated, watching the scene play out with a sadist amusement, his fingers clasping the neck of his wine glass, swirling the red liquid around to stop it becoming a thick gel and gaining a rather unsavory taste.

Horus couldn't believe what he herd. How did anyone know about the bionics that keep him alive? What the hell are these people? Horus didn't like it in the least. Making brief eye contact with the man who had whispered the words right at him.
"I am no knight. I am death's avatar. I am the one who will take you to meet death himself."
Horus was close to killing someone. In all his years, he had never see such madness. The only thing that would come from this is death.

"Oh bugger, that’s a catch." She muttered to her bear. "I am shaking in my dress." it was amazing that she could be so sarcastic. Sure she looked seven, but she was over one hundred years old.
This metal man did not intimidate her, even with a knife in hand. What was he going to do, stab her, whet then, she would not die from it, she would heal instantly as well. Honestly he was making a poor choice. She may only be a child but she was a monster all the same.
Another vampire joined into this dysfunctional scene and said a few things about her being an innocent child. She could only wish it, nothing more could she do. Long ago was her innocents lost. With her first kill she had left her childhood far behind, but her body remained forever the same trapping her woman’s mind inside this cage.
"I am no knight. I am death's avatar. I am the one who will take you to meet death himself."
"I am queen Elizabeth the third, and this here is my chief advisor." She lifted up the bear and spoke in a mocking tone. This man was not impressive at all, maybe a little foolish and silly, but not impressive. He would be a great clown at a child’s birthday party however.

Horus was infuriated. No one mocked him in any way. Throwing aside the table, he reached behind his backpack before pulling out his machine gun. Slamming his knife into the underside, Horus swung his weapon, what could be called a barrel was now pointed directly at the little girl. Though it lacked the the standard length of his fully assembled machine gun, it was still potent at short distanced. Horus fired a burst at the girl, the patrons of the coffee shop now screaming and running for their lives at the sight and sound of a gun."Never mock me. I am Horus Abaddon. I am the avatar of death."Turning his attention to the girl's companion, he swung his machine gun at him before firing a few rounds at him."No one has ever known my secret. You will die for knowing this secret. No one must know the secrets I hold." Horus now held the cards. He knew that he could cut both of them down with his knife and machine gun in a split second. He waited to see what their next move was.

As he fired at her she used a good old skill that her mother had shown her, speed. With the blink of an eye she was behind him laughing in her childish joy. "What a gun, what are going to do...shot me, and then what. I would kill you before a bullet struck me, and if it did I would just heal. I am so afraid of the big bad tin can."
it baffled her that humans believed somehow they could shot a gun off and kill a vampire. What side of the stupid bed did he get up on. Obviously the one with extra pathetic. All the same she stood there with her hands on her hips smiling at him.

The girl appeared behind Horus. Horus just laughed at the girls words. "You just made a fatal mistake." Horus continued to laugh. He was now in his prime element, melee combat. Horus's armor appeared to come alive. Electrical sparks started to fly off his blood red armor. "Are you willing to burn?" Horus turned to face the girl. His secret was now revealed. He was now a crackling fountain of energy, safely protected inside his armored plates. No one would be dumb enough to touch him while his exterior plates were charged with over 2000 volts of pure energy.
